The Connect School, Colorado’s first charter school, opened in September of 1993 with the expressed aim of creating a school where creativity, personalization, high standards, accountability, and excellence are the norm. We produce hard working, caring, polite students who can be trusted and who continue to be top students at the high school of their choice.
Connect is more than a school; it’s a community.
The Connect School design incorporates the Common Principles of the Coalition of Essential Schools as well as our own philosophy of education centered around the building of connections. We offer a strong grounding in the basics, because reading, writing, and mathematics are tools which connect all learning. And, we provide sophisticated connections to the world of information and technology.
