By the end of January, this billboard will be on display at the turn on Highway 50 and Santa Fe Avenue. It measures 12 ft. high by 40 ft. long. The artwork is made of vinyl and it can be stored for future use or moved to another location at a later date. The Connect Charter School was honored as a National Blue Ribbon school on November 8, 2017 in a wonderful ceremony at the historic Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C.
The Colorado Department of Education nominated five Colorado schools, four elementary and The Connect Middle School. The Connect School was nominated for exemplary academic performance having received a 100% performance score. After completing an extensive application and review process, the Connect School received the news that it was selected in September. We were elated. We have spent 25 years perfecting our programs and building excellent students in a College Prep environment. The selection committee rated Connect high on both our academic programs and school culture. We work very hard to build the whole child, to give them meaningful skills, and real life experiences.
The billboard location was chosen because we are located in School District 60. We are, however, chartered by School District 70. Motorists from the County will be able to proudly view our achievement.
The Connect School enrolls from a waiting list and parents are invited to sign up for future enrollment well before middle school. Some parents put their babies on our waiting list. We are honored to offer this national level, high quality education to our region’s students. This is one of the very best middle schools in Colorado and the nation. Parents wanting the very best education for their child should call The Connect School at (719) -542-0224 and request a waiting list application
